SCANNING: Don't overlook the obvious when searching for a frequency
The radio communications you are seeking may not be where you thought
Sometimes the radio frequency you’re searching for might not be what you thought. One of my favorite scanning activities is on-site monitoring. That can include a shopping mall with dozens to hundreds of retail outlets, an airport with multiple airlines and cargo operations, a casino with gaming and a hotel, a sporting event at a stadium and auto races.
