For this edition of NatCom’s Featured Frequency, we’re going to discuss a VHF high band frequency that you surely will want to monitor. You’ll hear exciting emergency communications on it almost anywhere in the United States if you program this into your scanner.

These communications include high-level medical activity that you might hear for up to 50 miles, especially if you use an outside antenna on your scanner. Come along as we tell you what frequency you will want to program in your scanner if you don’t already monitor it.
